在西伯利亞，一枚核彈頭被美國(guó)黑市軍火商康茲（方?基默 Val Kilmer 飾）一伙奪走。美國(guó)方面的吉姆上校迅速前往厄瓜多爾，在那里找到了傳說(shuō)中的頂尖特工馬克?魯柏（威爾?福特 Will Forte 飾），委托他解決核彈危機(jī)。十年前與康茲有殺妻之仇的馬克決定再出江湖，他召來(lái)了自己的夢(mèng)幻團(tuán)隊(duì)，不料因粗心大意導(dǎo)致所有隊(duì)友死亡。為避免任務(wù)取消，狂妄的馬克只得低聲下氣跪求自己看不起的新丁特工派波（瑞恩?菲利普 Ryan Phillippe 飾）和自己組隊(duì)，加上他的好友維琪（克里斯汀?韋格 Kristen Wiig 飾），馬克總算拼湊成一個(gè)三人小組向康茲發(fā)起進(jìn)攻。行事風(fēng)格毫無(wú)章法可言的馬克幾乎搞砸了整個(gè)任務(wù)，令他很快被吉姆上校踢出局，但這并不能阻止馬克拯救核彈頭瞄準(zhǔn)下華盛頓人民的雄心壯志……
