該片以5.12大地震為背景，敘述地震后從汶川隨救援隊(duì)來到成都臨時(shí)安置中心的小女孩軒軒，在成都丟失了爸爸送給他的心愛毛絨玩具——酷巴熊。此時(shí)爸爸媽媽都還沒有生還的消息。軒軒把所有的情感和希望寄托到了爸爸送的禮物——酷巴熊上。軒軒通過自己的努力和堅(jiān)持克服了種種困難，在得到政府、社會(huì)、媒體和眾多好心人的幫助下找回酷巴熊的感人故事?！ ∮捌跨R頭均取自成都，眾多來自災(zāi)區(qū)的群眾將本色參演。影片主角由可愛的小演員任婉涵飾演，她曾與周華健、午馬、莫文蔚等港臺(tái)一線明星同臺(tái)合作，目前正在實(shí)地體驗(yàn)生活。影片另以主角則是動(dòng)漫形象“酷巴熊”，該形象是一只胖嘟嘟、憨態(tài)可愛的3D大熊貓?jiān)煨?，但他擁有河馬一樣寬大的臉龐以及奶牛似地花斑，在目前所有的卡通大熊貓世界里完全是個(gè)另類。更新穎的是，片中這個(gè)小家伙將會(huì)表演中國(guó)功夫及眾多巴蜀絕技，如變臉、吐火、頂碗等川劇絕活。
