Engagement Anniversary number 8

Eight years ago today I was at the top of Sulphur Mountain in the heart of the Canadian Rockies accepting a proposal of marriage.  I had known it was coming because Shawn and I had discussed our future together in great detail, but it was still spine tinglingly exciting to become officially engaged.  And it was so easy to say yes.  It was the most obvious answer in the world.  I am grateful beyond belief that God has blessed me with this amazing man to be my husband.  The big glass of chenin blanc in my hand is making me a little sentimental, but I mean every word!
