I am a writer, speaker and editor, currently working on my sixth book, about what and where home is. Don’t ask me where I’m from unless you have a half hour free, but if you do I’ll be happy to tell you the story and I’d love to hear yours- preferably with a large coffee in hand.
I’m also the editor of Preach Magazine. I work on the Bible Society resource, Lyfe, I’m a Christian Today columnist, an LICC Connecting with Culture contributor and a regular in Daily Bread. I blog about the spiritual life, depression and being a writer.
When I’m not working, I love reading, planning holidays and making food for friends. I’d like to be the kind of person who could pop into the garden for green beans and strawberries for dinner but I’ve got a knack for killing even the most invincible plants. I live in South West London with my husband Shawn- an American vicar with a colourful past- and our two little girls, Alexa and Charis.
Incase all that wasn’t quite the information you were after, perhaps you’d like to know my Myers -Briggs profile is ENFJ, I have synesthesia which means I see numbers as colours, I’m resigned to being a life-long Slimming World member, I get very grumpy when taken around shops, and my favourite time of day is bedtime.
And that picture on the left is me when I was two, running around in my dad’s sweater on a beach in Norway.
