Mind grooves

I have certain words and phrases that always cause me to complete them in my mind with something completely random.  Let me explain.  If I hear someone say “Let’s go” my mind says “Budget Paris”, because when I was eighteen I went to France with a few school friends and that was our guide book: “Let’s Go Budget Paris!”.  And if you were to say, “the difference between…”, I would be saying in my head “margerine and butter” which is a fragment from some advert way back.  Hot chocolate makes me echo it back with a Chinese accent, and if it’s windy, I will be thinking “er is windig” which is the only German I remember.  Can you relate, or am I just weird?
